Now in its' second year, it is held in the historic Bletchley Park, home of the famous wartime "Enigma" codebreaking fame.
We welcome back Dr. Nick Barratt, from BBC TV's "Who Do You Think You Are" for talks on "House History" and "Family History and the Media". These are at 12 midday and 2pm respectively.
There will also be a talk from Dr. Bruce Durie of Strathclyde University, Glasgow at 1pm entitled "Not All Clans and Tartans"- researching Family History in Scotland.
There will also be talks on Bletchley Park itself in the library and a chance to be taken on a guided tour.
Food and drinks are available throughout, next door to the mansion house in the Zest Caterers cafeteria.
Admission to the Family History Show is £4 per person, please park over the road, in Sherwood Drive in the Bletchley Rail Station. From the rail station, cross over the road, head towards your right and then left into the park. Disabled parking however is available on site £3.
Remember...Please bring any old family photographs with you so that you can have them RETOUCHED BY PRYNNE
Visitors to the show wishing to upgrade to an annual season ticket visitors card, entitling you to re-visit any future events at the park , can obtain these on the day for a reduced rate of £6 instead of £10. For those holding these, there will also be films at the cinema showing 1940's newsreels.
